Title : Hurricane Lamp
Self-Built : No
Light Source : Paraffin oil ( scented with citronella )
Special Features : None.
Comments : The ultimate in functional design. Every part is there for a reason; the oil tank and filler cap, the lever to raise the glass for lighting, the knob to raise and lower the wick, the ventilation holes, the hanging loop, the thick green paint... The lamp is lightweight but produces a bright light even in a strong wind ( not so sure about a hurricane though ! ).
